Correction Policy

On the SugarDaddyBalkan blog we commit to accurate, clear, and responsible content.
When we detect errors, we correct them with transparency, without sensationalism or misleading promises, and we keep a record of the changes.
We also offer users the opportunity to publish articles — see more in Collaborations.

Scope

This policy applies to the editorial content of the blog.
Content generated by platform users (profiles, messages, etc.) is managed according to the Active Response Policy and the Terms of Use.

Types of Changes and How We Indicate Them

Type	Definition	How it is shown
Correction	Fixes an inaccurate detail (date, figure, name, link).	Note at the beginning or end: “Correction (dd/mm/yyyy hh:mm CET): …”
Clarification	Adds context to avoid misinterpretations.	“Clarification (dd/mm/yyyy hh:mm CET): …”
Update	Incorporates new relevant information without the original being wrong.	“Update (dd/mm/yyyy hh:mm CET): …”
Rectification/Withdrawal	When the core of an article is wrong or problematic.	“Rectification/Withdrawal (dd/mm/yyyy hh:mm CET): …” with explanation; may include unpublishing with notice.

We never modify substantive content without leaving a trace.
Minor spelling mistakes may be corrected without a note if they do not alter meaning.

Editorial Correction Process

Detection (internal or external notification).
Verification of information (sources and evidence).
Correction and visible note (according to the table above).
Record in the Article’s Change History.
Final review by the editorial team.

How to Report an Error

Send us an email at corrections@sugardaddybalkans.com with:

The article URL and the exact paragraph.
Description of the possible error.
Sources or evidence (links, documents).
Your contact details (optional, for follow-up).

Indicative timeframes (see details in Active Response Policy):

Acknowledgement: 48 h.
First substantive response: 2–3 days.
High complexity: we will inform you of the new estimate.

Right of Reply

If you consider that a publication affects you and you wish to respond, write to appeals@sugardaddybalkans.com with:

Identification and relation to the content.
Proposed text (max. 300–500 words) and supporting documentation.

Acceptance and form of publication remain at the editorial team’s discretion, ensuring fair treatment and context.

Personal Data

If the article includes inaccurate personal data or you wish to exercise your rights (access, rectification, erasure, objection, portability), write to privacy@sugardaddybalkans.com.
Rectification of personal data may coexist with the editorial correction note for transparency.

Each article maintains a block at the end with its history:

What is Not a Correction

Differences of opinion or editorial approaches.
Requests to remove accurate information of legitimate interest.
Cosmetic changes that do not alter meaning.
